As part of our ongoing service to our Customers, the company take ownership on customer projects and project manage mould and manufacturing cell builds on their behalf. Tool & Plastic take full responsibility for the customer project from the concept/design stage through to full product offering. Projects are managed using MS Project and weekly updates are provided to our customers. Tool & Plastics has a comprehensive Project Introduction program that delivers a comprehensive Ppap package to our customers including, Part submission warrant, Design of Experiments, Process and product capability studies, Control plans, FMEA’s and Gauge R&R’s. The company implemented a Real-time monitoring system in December 2007 for all process equipment and invested in a 3D measurement system (CMM) the same month. Process measurements are controlled using MeasurLink software and the Quality system and change control is controlled using QPulse software. The company operates a continuous improvement culture and employs a Lead Six Sigma Black Belt at the Irish facility. The company is approved to ISO 9001:2000 and plans to have the ISO13485 standard in place by June 2008.
